"Haven Horse Ranch believes that today’s youth lack opportunities to develop character and learn the consequences of responsible behavior. Haven Horse Ranch exists to present and model Christian principles to our youth, teaching the values of relationships, teamwork and individual character by building confidence and leadership and to assist each child with special needs in reaching their full potential through interaction and therapy with horses."

We have found that when you teach a child that:

 • they can be in control of and responsible for an 1100-pound animal

 • riding is a team sport and they along with the horse make up that team

 • the same animal will trust them and look to them as the leader.

Now involve Mom or Dad or even the whole family and see what a difference it can make in the life of your child, and in the lives of everyone else in your entire family. We've seen it happen; you can, too! Since 1990, we have taught these principles to thousands of youth through horse riding camps and clinics.  These kids, ages 6-18, have seen their confidence and self-esteem grow and their character develop as they learned to be in control of and responsible for an 1100-pound horse.

Our Mission

We subscribe to a simple philosophy; you have no right to complain about what's wrong, unless you're willing to try and correct it!
