It's not just all work, it is a retreat, right? Stay on site in one of our comfortable guest rooms.  Enjoy family style meals, and I don't mean macaroni and cheese or hamburger helper either.  Take a walk on our 26 acre property around the spring pond.  We have the spot to get away without going away.

The entire package, classes/lessons/trail rides, guest room accommodations, meals and amenities for $375.  To register, call us at (904) 813-5710 or email us. Spots are limited so sign up now.  Makes a great gift!  We can email you a gift certificate for that special someone.

You asked for it, here it is . . . horse camp for adults!!!  Come take part in our new Horsemanship Retreats. You too can learn about the real horse world experience. Maybe you grew up with horses and want to revive the inner cowboy or cowgirl?  Maybe you have horses, and need to improve your horse skills? Or maybe you had a bad experience on a horse growing up and want to face your fears? Come, join us for a few days and get into the world of horses, a world you might not know existed!

Some of the options include:

•Why horses do what they do? Instinct vs. Training: What & how horses see, and how do they interpret it?

•Ground work training with one of our instructors, your horse or ours. •Grooming: What works and what doesn't. What's cosmetic and what's therapeutic?

•Tackling the tack: A lesson on proper fitting and appropriate use along with general care, cleaning and maintenance.

•Riding Lesson:  Balance and control, mounting/dismounting, all the way up to advanced communications

Then its back from lunch with your choice of:

•More ground work in the corral.

•More riding on site or off (maybe a trip to Princess Place?)

•Cowboy 101: How to throw a lasso, shoot a six-shooter or knots you need to know, how to tie and when to use them.

•Squirreling:  What’s that have to do with riding?

•Conformation: What is it and why is it important when looking at a horse?

•Communications: Are you fluent in "horse"? Learn the language.
